Meet Olivia! She is 16-years-old girl that loves watching the hit movie Wednesday starring Jenna Ortega and building Legos. Olivia is a big fan of Taylor Swift and Beyonce, singing songs like Shake it Off and Texas Hold ‘Em.
Olivia was diagnosed with Prader Willi Syndrome, a complex genetic condition that affects her core strength, balance, and muscle weakness. An adaptive tricycle would be greatly beneficial for Olivia because she will be able to increase her physical activity as well as social interactions outside of her physical therapy sessions.
Olivia’s mom, Sandra, reached out to W4K because purchasing equipment like a trike is too expense with paying medical bills. This unfortunately is not something covered by insurance or Medicaid. We want to make a difference for Olivia and help her gain more independence while having fun!
