Meet Quintia!
Meet 6-year-old Quintia, or better known by her friends and family as Tia! Tia was diagnosed with cerebral palsy when she was a toddler, after she started having daily cluster seizures. She has right side weakness in her arms and legs. Her left leg also presents weakness and she has been wearing AFOs to help correct her issues. She is non-verbal and uses a wheelchair for distances.
Despite Tia’s struggles, she remains a curious and remarkable little girl. She enjoys listening to simple nursery rhymes and educational children’s songs. She likes watching the Baby First show, which features her favorite character- a colorful parrot named Larry. Tia’s favorite pastime is going on car rides to enjoy the scenery, and going to her local park and observing her surroundings. Tia is a fighter who never gives up. We will never give up on her either!
