Meet Ra’Quan!

Meet 10-year-old Ra’Quan. Ra’quan was diagnosed with spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy after several complications at birth. He spent over a month in the NICU. He is non-verbal and visually impaired and is 100% dependent on others for assistance.

Despite Ra’Quan’s complications, he remains joyous and has a positive outlook on life. Some of his favorite interests include watching the popular shows, Bluey, Ms. Rachel, and Cocomelon. He enjoys listening to the music and learning his ABCs and 123s. Some of the simplest things make Ra’Quan happy, such as car rides and nature walks. Spending time with his older siblings provides him joy- whether he is watching them play a video game or coloring, he makes the most of each day!

Ra’Quan received a roll-in shower for his bathroom modification. As he continues to grow, it had become increasingly difficult to lift him in and out of the shower. He only has a bathtub, and now that he has a roll-in shower he has space to bathe safely without slipping or falling. Special thanks to his contractor, Demo Gods, and to his generous sponsor, The Nursey Foundation, for making this possible for him!
