Meet 12-year-old Reed! Diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at just 3 months old, Reed has faced physical challenges throughout his life, including weakness in his arms and legs that affect his balance and coordination. But don’t be fooled—nothing slows this determined young man down!
Reed is a bright, joyful, and passionate kid with a love for life and a heart full of enthusiasm. A huge sports fanatic, he’s always tuned into SportsCenter or the NFL Channel and never misses a chance to cheer on his favorite team—the Eagles—alongside his family. Science is his favorite subject, and when he’s not learning or watching sports, he’s spending time with his beloved dog Kane, who never leaves his side. Reed also plays in ABLE Baseball, where his positive energy inspires everyone around him.
Thanks to the amazing people at Athletes Helping Athletes Reed has received an adaptive tricycle—a gift that would allow him to continue physical therapy at home in a way that’s both fun and engaging. It will give him more freedom, help strengthen his muscles, and let him enjoy outdoor time with family and friends.
