Meet 5-year-old Sage. He was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy secondary to Shaken Baby Syndrome at just 6 weeks old—yet what a resilient, courageous little guy he is. Sage has muscle weakness in his arms and legs, which affects his balance, but his smile has a way of brightening even the darkest days.
Sage has many interests that bring him joy. He loves watching Bluey and the Minions, and some of his favorite moments are cuddling with Mom while she reads to him. He is a bright young learner who enjoys going to school and cheering on the Chicago Bears during football games with his mom. Most of all, Sage loves music—especially Jason Mraz’s “I’m Yours.” Gentle, quiet, and pure of heart, Sage prefers his own peaceful world, yet he inspires everyone who knows him and makes our world a better place.
Sage needs an adaptive therapy tricycle to help improve his balance, stamina, and independence, while giving him a safe and fun way to join his family on bike rides. This special trike will support his physical development and allow him to stay socially engaged.
Please sponsor Sage and help him ride toward a brighter, more independent future!
