Meet Shlomo!
Meet 4-year-old Shlomo! Shlomo was diagnosed in utero with spina bifida and shortly after birth he was also diagnosed with Duane’s Syndrome, a rare disease that affects the muscles in the eyes. He is both visually and hearing impaired, and wears cochlear implants. Shlomo uses a wheelchair for distances and a stander and walker at home.
Despite Shlomo’s struggles, he remains a funny and friendly little guy! He is very social and loves interacting with others at school and in his community. He has a great sense of humor as well. Shlomo is an imaginative kid, always playing with his Little People toys and building with his Magnatiles. The best quality about Shlomo is that he always has a smile on his face and enjoys making everyone around him happy- he is a ray of sunshine!
Shlomo has no feelings in his legs but has always wanted to ride a bike. He is in need of a hand trike so he can enjoy a fun outdoor activity while also increasing his muscle strength, range of motion, balance and coordination. Please be his sponsor!
