Meet 9-year-old Sidney — a sweet, happy boy who inspires everyone he meets!
Sidney was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at age 2. While he’s unable to walk due to muscle weakness in his arms and legs, that hasn’t stopped him from living life with joy and love. He’s incredibly affectionate and treasures time with his family, especially cuddling on the couch to watch cartoons with Mom or Dad. He also lights up when Grandma reads him stories, and his favorite place in the world? The Park swings!
Though Sidney is a man of few words, he takes in everything around him. He may be quiet, but his presence is powerful — he truly makes the world a brighter place.
Sidney’s family reached out to Wheelchairs 4 Kids to help get Sidney an adaptive tricycle. Thanks to the generosity of the Community Foundation for Brevard Kathryn F. Lazar Fund Sidney has received this special trike which will help him continue physical therapy at home in a fun and engaging way, building strength, improving balance, and bringing him so much joy along the way.
