Meet SiYona!
Meet 7-year-old Siyona. When mom was pregnant, she suffered from an intrauterine stroke, and an emergency C-section was required. She was only born with one side of her brain. She required surgery earlier this year to remove an arterial venous malformation, leading to her hydrocephalus diagnosis. She was also diagnosed as a toddler with mild CP, after not meeting typical milestones. Siyona also gets focal seizures, but thankfully due to the medication she is on, they are controlled.
Despite SiYona’s challenges, she remains a joyful and determined young lady. She enjoys watching her favorite show Gabby’s Dollhouse along with Pit and Penny YouTube shorts. The simple songs of the hit children’s show Cocomelon, are her favorite. When it comes to relaxation, Siyona’s favorite place to be is by the water- whether it’s the beach or a swimming pool! Her hobbies include coloring, playing with her siblings and enjoying the outdoors. SiYona is a sweetheart who is full of love and always sees the best in everyone.
