Meet Solomon! He’s an 11-year-old boy who never lets anything dim his shine. Solomon has Lesch-Nyhan syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that affects his mobility and everyday life. He cannot walk on his own, and when he was younger, he struggled significantly with using his hands. Through remarkable strength, determination, and support, Solomon has overcome some tremendous challenges – and today he has much more mobility and control in his hands than ever before. However, his struggles are still a daily battle.

Solomon is one of the most determined, hard-working, and social kids you could ever meet, and even after every hardship he’s faced, his goofy personality still shines through. In his free time, you will find him cheering on his favorite baseball teams – the LA Dodgers and the Chicago Cubs – because he absolutely loves baseball and would spend every minute at the field if he could! When he’s not watching baseball, he adores Pokémon and loves collecting the cards, singing along to Queen, or building robots and Legos with any spare time.

Solomon needs an activity chair to give him the support and comfort he deserves – so he can fully enjoy his favorite activities, and spending quality time with his family and friends. By sponsoring Solomon, you can help him gain greater independence and make his world a little brighter every day.
