Meet 20-year-old Tenzin, a resilient young man who experienced a hemorrhagic stroke related to Aplastic Anemia. As a result, he has weakness and paralysis on his left side that affects his arm, leg, and balance. While he faces daily challenges, Tenzin continues to approach life with quiet strength, positivity, and determination.
Tenzin has a gentle spirit and enjoys the simple things that make him happy. You’ll often find him watching Family Guy, playing his favorite video games, or spending time with the family dogs he absolutely adores. He loves being outdoors and going for walks, finding peace in nature. Though he’s naturally quiet and keeps to himself, his perseverance and kind heart inspire everyone around him and truly make the world a brighter place.
Tenzin’s mom recently reached out to Wheelchairs 4 Kids for help obtaining a gait trainer. This equipment will help him build strength, improve his balance, and safely participate in more activities with family and friends — giving him greater independence and the chance to keep enjoying the moments he loves most.
