Meet 7-year-old Veda. She was diagnosed with Metachromatic Leukodystrophy at just 2 years old. Veda now relies on her wheelchair for daily living and on her family for her care. Despite her many challenges, she remains patient, kind, and full of joy.

Veda has several interests that brighten her days. She is a big fan of all things Disney Princess and loves watching Fancy Nancy and The Little Mermaid. She enjoys listening to music and being read to. Most of all, Veda adores the thrill of riding roller coasters at Disney! Though she is quiet and often prefers to remain in her own world, Veda inspires everyone she meets and makes the world a better place.

Veda’s mom reached out to Wheelchairs 4 Kids for help in getting her a Special Tomato Multi-Positioning Seat. This Hi-Low MPS Seating System provides adjustable height seating that grows with her, making transfers easier and allowing Veda to spend more time learning in the classroom or having fun at home.

Thanks to the generosity of our friends at BayCare, Veda has received this much-needed piece of equipment!
