Meet Vidhan! This eleven-year-old loves playing video games and listening to Justin Beiber. Vidhan excels at science in school and enjoys reading picture books. When he isn’t playing video games, he collects sneakers and watches Cricket.
Vidhan was diagnosed at six months old with Hip Dysplasia and Cerebral Palsy. He only walks for very short distances, using a gait trainer and primarily uses his wheelchair for mobility. Unfortunately, his current wheelchair is not portable for his parents to transport in their car for events and outings.
Vidhan’s parents reached out W4K to receive help purchase a lightweight power wheelchair. Vidhan’s can only propel his current manual wheelchair with one arm due to his other arm not being strong enough.
