Meet Mila

Meet four-year-old Mila. She was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder known as Cri-Du-Chat. She has balance issues and her ability to walk is limited. Mila has more challenges, but she remains an upbeat girl

Mila has several fun interests. She likes watching Ms. Rachel on YouTube. Mila listens to nursery rhymes, but her favorite song is “Who Let the Dogs Out.” woof! She peruses through many books, including Runaway Bunny and Ten-Little-Jack-o’-lanterns. Mila is an outdoors girl who prefers getting fresh air, sunshine, and a swim over indoor activities. Mila, most of all, has a sweet spirit. She is an overachiever who is always in motion and never gives up on her goals. She is the center of a wonderful and loving family. Clearly, it is no wonder that Mila smiles from the moment she wakes up until she falls asleep. Meet Mila. Her positive heart is positively perfect!

Mila needed a Rifton tricycle to improve her leg strength, balance, and stamina to promote better walking. She will also have a blast riding the trike outdoors. Thanks to a sponsorship through Zervos and Calta, we were able to help Mila get the trike she needed!
