Meet Miles!

Meet 17-year-old Miles. He was diagnosed with Angelman syndrome, which primarily affects the nervous system. He is unable to walk or stand. He also cannot sit upright without assistance. Miles remains brave despite these and other difficulties.

Miles enjoys an array of pastimes. He watches action movies, and his favorite is Bumblebee. He is a racing sports fan, too. He listens to Salsa and Cumbia music. Miles likes reading Dr. Suess books, but he loves the colors from “1 Fish, 2 Fish.” Miles likes hearing cackling chickens at his grandpa’s farm. Another way to describe Miles is smart. He learns quickly and is always trying to find new ways to accomplish tasks. Most of all, he is lovable. He has an endless number of hugs and kisses to give, especially to his mom. Simply put, this sweet boy is filled with Miles of love.

Miles needed an adaptive tricycle to improve his leg strength and overall health. Furthermore, he can have a wonderful time riding the trike outdoors. Special thanks to a grant from Casty to help Wheelchairs 4 Kids provide the adaptive tricycle to Miles that he needed!
