Meet Motasem!

Meet 16-year-old Motasem. He was diagnosed with Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome and cerebral palsy. He was able to walk until having hip and leg surgery. He needs help with everyday tasks. Motasem has other trials but remains remarkable.

Motasem manages to have a fun childhood. He is a fan of Spiderman. He watches shows that feature cool firetrucks and fast bikes. He is also enthralled with books about vehicles and even slips them under his pillow before going to sleep. He is basically all boy when it comes to large trucks, especially when they go roaring through the mud! Motasem has more interests, but he is best defined by his kindness. He is always trying to make other people happy. He is empathetic towards his mom and hugs her when his many needs make her tired. He tries to smile a lot even though he is still affected by his surgeries. Motasem inspires everyone with his courage and the strength of his heart.

Motasem needed an adaptive bicycle to regain strength and balance in his legs. He can also have a great time riding the bike. Thanks to a grant through Foundation of Caring, Wheelchairs 4 Kids was able to help Motasem obtain the Trike he needed!
