Alyziah is a beautiful 9-year-old girl who was in a tragic accident in early 2013.  Sadly, this tragedy resulted in anoxic brain injury and cerebral palsy. The once active and lively girl can no longer walk or enjoy tasty treats and now uses a feeding tube for nourishment.  Imagine one day losing everything that was enjoyable and you might get a near glimpse of Alyziah’s life.  The sudden and drastic transformation, however, has not changed her heart.

Alyziah now has an adaptive tricycle. The therapeutic mobility equipment will help to increase her range of motion and strengthen the muscles in her legs.  Furthermore, Alyziah can now use the adaptive tricycle to join her siblings on a fun bike rides! As you can see in the picture above, she is having a great time taking a ride on her new trike!

Alyziah has many interests common to other girls her age. She loves pop music like Justin Bieber, but her favorite song is “Pretty Girl Rock” by the electrifying Keri Hilson. And, there is nothing cooler than a girl who gets excited about the fast-paced action of hockey. Alyziah’s favorite team is the Pittsburgh Penguins and she loves the great Marc Andre Fluery.   Alyziah also adores her family. They create shared moments and precious memories by spending quality time together. Like many other girls, Alyziah loves fashion, especially bright and vivid colors. She loves the playfulness of the newest fashion designs, and it was once her dream is to become an art teacher.
