Brian is a 9-year-old boy with Cerebral Palsy. He cannot speak, and is also legally  blind.  Despite Brian’s limitations, Brian has an infectious personality. He is truly a Florida boy and enjoys all things nautical, especially the tropical sounds of seagulls. His favorite television shows are Backyardigans and Little Einstein’s. Brian also smiles with grand radiance when watching Sesame Street. His favorite character is the adorable Elmo. However, Elmo does not compare in cuteness to Brian. This boy has long eyelashes and a contagious giggle.  Brian’s other favorite television personality is Kermit the Frog, who once said that “it’s not easy being green.” Brian’s life is not easy, but he laughs and spreads joy to others. Meeting Brian the Lovable is best described when Kermit sings, “All I have to do is look at you and show you how much I love you.”

Brian received a new gait trainer. He is really working hard and exercising each day. Brian’s legs are slowly getting stronger. The process is taking time, but Brian never gives up. He continues to be happy and still contains a gaggle of giggles! Brian’s father, Bill, is grateful for his son’s gait trainer.

“This has been very good for our family!  He loves it! Keep up the good work!  You are doing an outstanding job!” said Bill.
