Meet Carlos!

Meet 17-year-old Carlos. He was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. He is cognitively challenged and nonverbal resulting from the illness. Furthermore,   he cannot walk without assistance. Carlos, however, is unhindered in many ways.

Carlos is outgoing and fun. He is thrilled when mom opens up his toy chest and the two of them play together. He is happy  going out and being active. He loves parks, malls, and just taking walks through his neighborhood. He greets strangers as if they were friends and smiles warmly when they respond. His biggest passion, however, is music. He watches music videos. His favorite genres are Christian and anything that is upbeat. During school, his preferred topic is music class. Carlos even enjoys jamming on his piano. The disabled boy, despite having cognitive limitations, is intelligent. He listens to his mom and follows household rules, like eating before going out. Carlos also is observant. For example, He recognizes landmarks that show home is just around the corner. And for Carlos, his heart is with is family, and that makes it home.

Carlos needs a therapy tricycle to improve his leg strength, stamina, and balance. He will have a great time riding the trike, too. Please be his sponsor!

Carlos received his Rifton Adapted tricycle and has been going out every afternoon. His mom says he flashes a huge smile every time he’s on the bike. Carlos is able to get a extra workout on his trike whenever he goes out to have fun with his friends and neighbors!
