Isabella Rides to Victory on her New Trike!

20150301_134811Wheelchairs 4 Kids recently helped Isabella to receive a Freedom Concepts adaptive tricycle. Isabella’s goal was to join the Special Olympics cycling team. With her new bike Isabella was able to participate in the Special Olympics, Orange County cycling event. She even took first place in her division! Now every time Isabella crosses a finish-line she is saying to her disability, “I win!”

Isabella is a young lady who was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. She is unable to walk. Her primary way of independent movement is with a power chair. Her limitations, however, provide a unique opportunity to be resolute and ambitious.

Isabella loves sports and she actively competes in athletic games for disabled people. She is a member of the Special Olympics Team and participates in golf, basketball and swimming.
