Meet Jacob!

Meet two-year-old Jacob. He was diagnosed with multiple conditions, including hypotonia. He endures frightening spasms. Jacob is also unable to walk. He is a sweet boy while he struggles through his disability.

Jacob has simple interests. He listens to a variety of music, but he prefers Tiny Dancer by Elton John. His favorite part of the day is bath time. Jacob has a large tub that allows him to exercise and feel completely weightless; In the evening, Jacob cuddles with his mom—he falls fast asleep in her arms. Jacob and his mom are best friends, but he has touched many lives. In 2018, Jacob was essential for raising over  $7,000 for the March of Dimes in his hometown located in Georgia. He visited many businesses and inspired people to donate to the important organization. Jacob, as a result, became the 2018 March of Dimes Ambassador representing his county. In this way, Jacob became a source of inspiration as he helped other people in need. Jacob is a disabled boy with a limitless heart.

Jacob needs an adaptive stander to provide proper support while he improves his posture and leg strength and balance. The device will also promote better independence, allowing him to interact with his environment. Please be his sponsor!

Jacob recently received his stander. He has been happily trying it out for the last few days. His body is getting used to this new vertical position. He will benefit from using this stander in countless ways: his leg muscles will get stronger as will his core. Digestion, circulation and even his breathing pattern will improve!

We are so happy to help Jacob on his path to walking. One step at a time…
