Lyla’s Success Story
Meet 6-year-old Lyla. She was diagnosed with Muscular dystrophy. The illness causes her to have limited mobility; she cannot walk without assistance. She continues to move forward despite being mired in her trials.
Lyla has interests like other kids her age. She watches her favorite movie Trolls. She listens to music and is a Taylor Swift fan. In school her favorite topics are music and art. During family outings Lyla always wants to visit Disney’s Magic Kingdom. Her preferred way to beat the heat is by cooling off in a swimming pool. Lyla enjoys these and other activities. She inspires everybody by having the determination to have a great childhood.
Lyla was in need of a wheelchair for safe transport to school and therapy appointments. Thanks to the generosity of the Tony Stewart Foundation, Lyla has received her brand new manual wheelchair!
