Meet Tenley!
Meet six-year-old Tenley. She was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. She also has agenesis of the corpus callosum, a disorder in which the two hemispheres of the brain are not adequately connected. Her verbal skills are limited to saying “mommy and daddy.” Tenley also cannot walk or crawl. Furthermore, she eats using a tube. Tenley remains joyful despite debilitating challenges.
Tenley works hard to be active. She enjoys riding a special bicycle during physical therapy. Her favorite vacation spot is Disney. She is thrilled to see her beloved Mouse House characters. She has even more determination. Tenley plays baseball in the Miracle League, designed for children with disabilities. This little girl steps up to bat in the game, and in life. She is an all-star.
Tenley needs a Freedom Concept bicycle. This is the only bike that she can pedal. The new equipment will promote more independence and better strength. Please be a sponsor soon!
Tenley loves her new therapy trike! It has provided great opportunity to ride a bike like all the other kids do but dhe gets an extra physical therapy out of it as well!
