Robert’s Story!

FullSizeRenderWheelchairs 4 Kids was recently able to get Robert a Rifton activity chair for use at home. The specialized seating system is allowing him to be more comfortable and better positioned.

Eight year-old Robert was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and spastic quadriplegia. The infirmities have given this little guy overwhelming odds to battle. He is unable to support himself in a sitting position. He also does not have any mobility independence. Robert, however, has little trouble finding fun.

There are many simple ways that Robert discovers enjoyment. He has an insatiable sweet tooth and the treats that make his mouth water are lollipops, cake and ice cream. Add chocolate to the menu and Robert is in bliss! Watch out after a sugar rush, because this boy will also dance in his stroller. Play a great song and smile when Robert does the buggy-boogey!
