Meet 17 year-old Selena. This young lady was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and spastic quadriplegia, causing many symptoms. She also suffers from seizures. Selena is also blind from damage to the visual cortex. Furthermore, she is non-verbal and cognitively delayed. Her life has lots of obstacles, but she valiantly retains a cheerful heart.
Wheelchairs 4 Kids had the honor of working with Builder’s Care to get Selena a roll-in-shower. Builder’s Care, along with Carney Properties and construction manager Aaron to completely renovate Selena’s old bathroom. They rebuilt the bathroom from the floors up, and now Selena has a brand new roll-in shower and bathroom that is completely accessible! Amazing!!
