Meet Francisco

Meet four-year-old Francisco. Francisco was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy at three months old. He has limited mobility and can walk with assistance. Francisco is nonverbal and communicates with sound and gesture. Despite all of this, he remains a happy boy.

Francisco is described as loving and curious. He is the first one to give love and cuddles every morning. He is also incredibly curious, in a way that often inspires his Dad to stop and look more closely at the world around him. Francisco is also the resident “Funny Guy”. If there is a prank to be played or an antic to be done, count him in.

Francisco needed a Trike to allow him more mobility and to strengthen his range of motion. He was only able to use a trike in Physical Therapy. He loved it and wanted one to continue therapy from the comfort of home.

Since receiving his new Trike, Francisco has been out riding with his Mom and Dad. In play, he is able to strengthen core muscles and also have improved mobility and access. Thank you to The Community Foundation for Brevard for sponsoring him! Your gift will continue to make a difference in his daily life for years to come.
