Meet Brielle
Brielle is a 7-year-old girl who suffers from Alexander’s Disease. This rare disease causes severe spasticity, contractures, and inability to walk. No specific therapy will cure Alexander’s Disease. Brielle has to spend most of her time sitting in a wheelchair. A stander would allow Brielle to spend more time in an upright position and allow her to exercise her legs more, as well to do activities with her sisters.
On April 8, 2018, Brielle received her stander from Wheelchairs 4 Kids. Here she is, standing up tall and proud! Look at that smile!
