Solomon’s Success Story

Solomon is a 3-1/2-year-old cutie with a diagnosis of Lesch-Nyhan syndrome, a rare hereditary disease that affects young boys, usually causing early death.  He is a very social child, despite his dystonia and inability to walk.  He loves participating in activities with his friends, watching Paw Patrol, and reading Dr. Seuss with mom.  Solomon has a dog named Opal that he loves very much.

Solomon’s physical therapist and doctors have recommended a Rifton Hi-Lo Activity Chair to help with Solomon’s fine motor skills, activities of daily living, and learning activities.  This special chair allows for varying heights, which would be especially helpful in everyday activities, such as brushing teeth, eating, and participating in preschool learning activities.

Solomon has received his Rifton Hi-Lo Activity Chair, thanks to Allegany Franciscan Ministries!
