Meet Sutton!

Meet three-year-old Sutton. The courageous child suffered from a lack of oxygen during his birth. This caused developmental delay and cerebral palsy. Sutton currently does not have any independent mobility, although he can sit upright without support. He is a cheerful boy despite his obstacles.

Sutton has a few, fun interests. He watches tv shows that feature a great soundtrack, including Phineas and Ferb. He has a very cool taste in music. Sutton loves dancing to 80’s bands such as Queen and AC/DC—his favorite song is “Wee Will Rock You.” He even has a collection of drums and maracas that he plays during music.  His favorite outing includes visiting Dream Park, which is a local playground designed for people with disabilities. Sutton is clearly determined to have a wonderful childhood. He is spunky and an attention seeker, too. Simply put, Sutton beats to his own set of drums. And his inspiring example rocks all of us!

Sutton needs a Rifton gait trainer to provide him with more independent mobility while also strengthening his legs. Please be his sponsor!
