Meet Anthony!

Meet 8-year-old Anthony! Anthony is a medically complex child who suffers from seizures and was born with WDR26, also known as Skraban-Deardorff syndrome, a rare neurodevelopmental disorder. He is unable to walk unassisted and has several other motor and developmental delays. He has had several surgeries- his first when he was only 6 weeks old.

Anthony has many fun interests! He is a fan of Moana and Finding Nemo. His favorite song is “You’re Welcome,” and his dog’s name is Maui, after the popular demigod from the movie. He loves visiting Animal Kingdom so he can watch the Finding Nemo musical, and he carries his Nemo plushie with him wherever he goes! Anthony also enjoys being outdoors and going to his local park. He is a happy and grateful child who’s easygoing spirit echoes that of the favorite little clownfish, Nemo. Anthony doesn’t let his disability define him, just like his hero Nemo!

Anthony is in need of a therapy bicycle. This bike will help strengthen his range of motion, while also giving him an enjoyable activity he is able to participate in with her peers! Please be his sponsor!
