Meet Dominic!

Meet 11—year-old Dominic. He suffered from a traumatic brain injury as a baby. The injury resulted in cerebral palsy and seizure disorder. Dominic can walk, but he is fatigued easily. He has underdeveloped coordination and balance. Dominic has other obstacles, but he remains a happy boy.

Dominic has various interests. He watches the hit shows Paw Patrol and Thomas the Tank Engine. He has a cool collection of Thomas the Tank toys, too. He also likes watching car-crushing monster truck rallies. He enjoys being outdoors going for bike rides, playing on see saws, or participating in equine therapy. His favorite place is the adaptive playground at Sims Park. Dominic, most importantly, is inspiring. He always helps with chores around the house, even with his limitations. He has overcome a mountain of trials and is still a joy to be around. He is rarely without a bright, beaming smile. Meet Dominic. He is the ray of sunshine that warms our hearts.

Dominic was presented with a therapy bicycle as an early Christmas present! The bike will improve his leg strength and balance while also giving him a fun outlet to play outdoors. We are grateful to the Broadrick Foundation for their amazing generosity!
