Meet Joseph!

Meet eleven-year-old Joseph. He was born full term but with complications that caused jaundice and oxygen loss, leading to brain damage. He spent many days at numerous hospitals and has been hospitalized over a dozen times in his life. He was also diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Joseph is unable to sit upright without support. He is cognitively delayed and nonverbal. He also cannot bear any amount of weight on his legs and is unable to walk.

Joseph is a resilient and happy child who does not give in to his hardships. Joseph enjoys watching the classic cartoon, Tom and Jerry, as well as the popular Disney Jr. show, Masha and the Bear. He is also a fan of the Pixar film, The Good Dinosaur. The best part of his day, however, is when he spends time with his family, especially his sisters. Joseph adores being a big brother, and his favorite pastime is going to their local neighborhood park with his siblings! Although he cannot express in words his love for his family, he expresses it with his kind heart!

Joseph needs a manual wheelchair to provide proper support and comfort while he participates in family gatherings. He has outgrown his current chair. Please be his sponsor!
