Meet Adrian!
Meet three-year-old Adrian. He was born with cerebral palsy and has cognitive and mobility challenges. Adrian is equivalent to a one-year-old infant; he is also taking speech therapy to improve his vocal skills. Furthermore, Adrian is unable to stand without assistive technology; he is trying to be more independent by learning how to crawl. The courageous boy is happy despite the obstacles in his path.
Adrian has a wide variety of ways to be entertained. He loves the exciting array of vivid colors and orchestral music from Baby Einstein—he waves his arms and giggles whenever watching the hit show. His favorite movies are Moana and Frozen. Adrian also has a pet kitty and they always cuddle next to each other to take naps. He attends school—he specially likes sitting around a circle and singing fun songs or getting in a stroller to take walks with his classmates. Adrian laughs hysterically whenever the stroller hits a bump. In this way, he is amused with simple things and hearing his laugh is common. People cannot help but smile when hearing his joviality. Adrian can even make people feel loved by giving endless amounts of hugs and kisses. There is enough room in his heart to fit the world. Thankfully, we live in a world that contains Adrian’s heart.
