Meet Haleema!
Meet 11-year-old Haleema. She was diagnosed with a form of spinal muscular atrophy. She has endured two spinal surgeries and braves her way through daily trials. Haleema cannot walk or stand. She has many more limitations but remains happy.
Haleema likes various pastimes. She is a fan of the My Little Pony show and books. Her favorite movie is Frozen. Haleema listens to music that inspires her to dance. She has a zoo-sized collection of stuffed animals, and each one is unique. Haleema also has fun going to the beach, Disney, and Nickelodeon Studios. Most importantly, Haleema is described as happy, playful, and friendly. Two more words describe Haleema. This little girl is aptly named. Haleema defines gentle and patient. She is an inspiration to us all.
