Meet Joshua!

Meet 13-year-old Joshua. He was diagnosed with Friedreich’s Ataxia, a nervous system disorder that is regressive. He also has severe scoliosis. Joshua has low stamina, poor balance, and impaired coordination. He cannot walk without assistance. He is a fall risk despite using braces on his legs. Joshua remains remarkably positive even with his increasing limitations.

Joshua has a wide  array of interests. He watches shows ranging from spongebob to The Walking Dead. He is a fan of Larry Bird and the Celtics basketball team. Joshua plays the video games, Call of Duty and Fortnite.  He is a diligent homebound student, too. Throughout the day, Joshua has a loyal bunny that is always there for a calming snuggle and a nuzzle. Most importantly. He has an amazing heart. He has a friend who wears leg braces. Joshua is very empathetic and helps his friend carry books to school and do other tasks. The young boy is equally kind to everybody. He has a magical way of making us smile. Everyone should meet Joshua. He is unforgettable, inspirational, and simply irresistible.

Joshua needs a Rifton therapy tricycle to maintain his overall health for as long as possible. He will also have fun riding the trike outdoors. Please be his sponsor!
