Meet 14-year-old Andre! Andre has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy; a genetic disorder characterized by progressive muscle degeneration and weakness. Andre’s mobility is limited to a wheelchair, therefore he is faced with many obstacles.
Andre is a big sports fan! He especially loves the Barcelona Soccer Team and Miami Heat Basketball. When he isn’t watching soccer, he enjoys playing FIFA on his PlayStation. In school, Andre excels particularly in Science, his favorite subject of all.
Andre is a good-spirited young man. His loved ones describe him as being patient and resilient when faced with new challenges. Andre needs a portable bath chair to use at home and when traveling.
