Meet Camryn!

Meet fifteen-year-old Camryn!  She was born with Congenital Fiber Type Disproportion (CFTD), a condition known as myopathy that affects her skeletal muscles, these specific muscles are used for movement.  Camryn suffers from chronic myopathy which limits her walking; however, she’s always on the move!

Camryn is a freshman in high school whose favorite subject is math and loves Greys Anatomy! She enjoys listening to R&B and The Weekend on her free time!  Camryn also loves watching and rooting for her favorite USA Women’s Soccer Team.

Camryn received a Phoenix portable power wheelchair because now that she’s getting older, she wants to work, go to school, and travel without the worries of a heavy chair! The lightweight chair will make a world of difference for her as it is much more accessible for transport.  Special thanks to Heather Ribble on behalf of the Estate of Barbara Reynolds for being her generous sponsor!
