Meet Catherine!

Meet sixteen-year-old Catherine! She is an inspiration to anyone she meets! Currently Catherine is enrolled in an IB Diploma Program, where she’s maintaining a 4.65 GPA. Not only that, but she is also a devoted volunteer and advocate at John Hopkins Hospital helping children with disabilities overcome obstacles! Think that’s it? Nope! Catherine is also a member of her Student Government and as well as a Peer Minister at her high school!

Catherine suffers from POTS (Postural tachycardia syndrome) which confines her to only being able to walk short distances. Now that Catherine is getting older, she wants to become even more independent! The wheelchair Catherine currently has, is too heavy for her to lift into a car by herself. With college right around the corner, Catherine has been asking and trying to navigate insurance for a lighter wheelchair for 2 years with no success!

Catherine needs a Light Manual Wheelchair to make going to work and traveling possible! Please be her sponsor!
