Meet Dillon!
Dillon is an eight-year-old boy who has Cerebral Palsy and Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Dillon’s mom describes him as a free-spirited boy who never gives up despite multiple disabilities. Dillon’s muscles are gradually deteriorating and simple tasks are proving more challenging. Dillon can no longer maneuver a manual wheelchair. This has hindered much of his independence but not his drive.
The fun-loving guy enjoys many activities for boys his age. He gets excited watching wrestling and the physical mayhem within the squared-ring. He also is a huge football fan. Dillon always roots for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Denver Broncos. Sometimes he wants to get interactive and throws the football with family and friends when his strength is up. Nothing goes better with sports and energizing fun like Dillon’s favorite foods, Papa John’s pizza or mac and cheese! This boy’s hunger is surpassed only by his will to persevere. He teaches a lesson that all adults should learn. Dillon never takes for granted the fragile gift of life.
Dillon recently got a power wheelchair due to his inability to operate his manual wheelchair but his family is unable to transport the power wheelchair. They need a portable ramp for their minivan so they can get his power wheelchair in their vehicle. Please help Dillon to keep moving forward and donate today!
