Meet Franny!

Meet one-year-old Franny. Her family thought she was born a healthy baby but soon after birth Franny failed her infant hearing test. Through more exams and testing, she was diagnosed with Cytomegalovirus and Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy. Although she is limited in her physical abilities, this does not prevent Franny from being an unstoppable, determined, and motivated child.

At this young age, Franny has many interests! She’s learning how to use sign language from watching her favorite show, Ms. Rachel. She’s become a master at signing “all done” to let her parents know when she’s ready to move on to her next activity. Franny is also a fan of classical music, nothing soothes her soul better than the iconic Beethoven. Cuddling up to her mother and being read to is one of her favorite past times, she loves being a helper and turning the pages. The name Francesca translates to the word “Free” which is a perfect definition as her biggest desire is to freely explore her world.

Franny needs a Permobil Explorer Mini to increase her independence while staying safe, learning, and having fun all in one. Please be her sponsor!
