Isabel’s Success Story!

Isabel is a 14-year-old young lady who suffers from seizure disorder, developmental delay, visual impairment, and speech and motor delays.  She is unable to walk and spent most of her days in a chair that is too small for her.  Unfortunately, insurance or Medicaid will only pay for a chair every 5 years, but was quite obvious that this child needed a larger chair.

Isabel is a happy child, despite her challenges.  She enjoys music, interacting with other people, and going on school field trips.

Isabel needed travel wheelchair/stroller to be able to go places with her family, visit her doctors,  to go to school, and to be able to participate in school field trips.  Wheelchairs 4 Kids feels so fortunate that the Downtown Rotary Club of Omaha stepped up and sponsored her new chair. Her mom is especially grateful and can now feel confident that Isabel can travel safely and comfortably.
