Meet Sarah!
Meet 6-year-old Sarah! Sarah was born with a congenital genetic disorder known as 1p36 deletion syndrome. This syndrome affects both her cognitive and physical skills, causing delayed growth, hypotonia, limited speech and developmental delays. Sarah is able to walk, however she fatigues easily. While she can still perform most of her daily living skills, such as dressing herself and brushing her teeth, she does need assistance with other tasks.
Sarah is a sweet and social little girl who enjoys the simple pleasures of life, such as going to the park and swimming. She loves the water and bath time is her favorite times of day! Sarah is a fan of the children’s show, Uncle Moishy, especially when they perform her favorite song, The Pizza Song! Most of all, Sarah is a happy child who has overcome many obstacles, but she always does so with a smile on her face. Sarah remains a positive force to be reckoned with!
Sarah is in need of an activity chair to make feedings and other daily activities easier for her and her family. This chair will also be beneficial to strengthening her back muscles and enhancing her posture. Please be her sponsor!
