Meet Yeriel!

Meet 15-year-old Yeriel. He was diagnosed with osteogenesis imperfecta, otherwise known as brittle bone disorder. Yeriel has endured many testings and has undergone several surgeries over the years. He is unable to walk without assistance.

Yeriel has many unique interests. He is described as an intelligent boy and wise beyond his years. He loves learning about U.S. history, and his favorite historical event is the sinking of the Titanic. Yeriel also enjoys watching popular medical dramas on TV. He is a fan of the 2 “kings” of pop music- Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley. He loves to watch videos of Elvis performing, and his favorite song is “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” Yeriel may not be a king himself, but his loyal and humble personality make him a king in our hearts!

Yeriel is in need of a therapy bicycle to help strengthen his legs and provide him with the proper exercise he needs. Please be his sponsor!

Yeriel received his very own Rifton therapy trike! With this new trike Yeriel will be able to get some additional exercise while enjoying some time outside. Most importantly he will be able to engage in a peer equivalent activity; he will be riding bikes with other kids in his neighborhood!
