Meet Paola!
Meet 15-year-old Paola. She was diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy type 1. She has suffered through numerous surgeries on her back and feet. She cannot walk without assistance and spends most of her time in a wheelchair to be independent. She remains positive despite her challenging illness.
Paola enjoys various pastimes. She watches anime, and her favorite is the hit show Demon Slayer. Her favorite movie is Miracle from Heaven. She listens to pop and Christian music. Paola is a fan of the Harry Potter book series. She likes shopping at the stores in the Magic Kingdom theme park. Paola attends school and excels at biology class. She is also an artist who enjoys drawing imaginative pictures. Most of all, Paola is loving to her friends and family. She spends a lot of time playing with her brother. She likes being silly and making people laugh. She has a humble heart, too. Paola, the artist, creates a beautiful picture that is the masterpiece of her life.
Paola needs a manual wheelchair to provide proper support and comfort while making transportation easier. Her old chair is too small and painful. Please be her sponsor!
