Meet Wade!
Meet nine-year-old Wade. He was diagnosed with spinal muscular dystrophy. He has limited mobility and requires assistance with everyday living skills. Wade also suffers from seizure disorder. He has more challenges, but this brave boy remains happy.
Wade has some cool interests. He is a super fan of all things Scooby Doo, and his favorite character is Shaggy. He listens to 80’s music, including songs from the group Loverboy. Wade loves playing music and having dance parties with his siblings. He likes watching sports with his mom and dad—his favorite teams are the Buccaneers and Broncos. Most importantly, Wade is described as a sweet boy. He likes being silly and messing around with his siblings to make them laugh. He is also very smart and figures out ways to communicate even though he is nonverbal—he shows excitement by wiggling. Meet Wade. His name describes him best. Wonderful. Adorable. Delightful.
