Meet Jazmine!
Meet 12-year-old Jazmine! Jazmine suffers from abnormal gait patterns, which cause her significant functional impairments, such as poor balance and coordination, fatigue, and limited stability in her ankles and legs. She had to have bilateral Achilles’ tendon lengthening surgery in 2023. She is able to walk with the assistance of AFOs.
Jazmine remains a sweet and pleasant young lady who is a fan of classic Disney and Pixar movies such as Aladdin, Monsters Inc, and Toy Story. She gets enjoyment from swimming and splashing in the pool. Jazmine has a creative side and enjoys art- specifically painting, and playing with sensory beads and slime. Jazmine has a likeable curiosity about her. She is always observant and aware of her surroundings.
