Crime: Stealing Candy for Kids

Miraj Patel aka “Sweet Tooth” was caught committing Grand Theft Sugar at the local candy factory. By the time police caught him, he had already distributed most of his loot to kids in the Tampa Bay area. This is considered the largest sugar bust since Slugworth stole the Everlasting Gobstopper from Wonka in ’71.

Miraj is the Founder & CEO of Harness, a Tampa-based technology company that helps non-profit organizations transform their business models into sustainable, recurring revenue. The Harness platform is helping non-profits across America raise more than $50MM a year in recurring gifts.

Miraj is a graduate of the University of Florida, an alum of Leadership Florida, and a chairman of the 13 Ugly Men Foundation, which has granted over $1.5MM to charities in the Tampa Bay area.
