Meet Nikolas!
Meet 19-year-old Nikolas. He was diagnosed at birth with cerebral palsy and hydrocephalus. He is in a wheelchair full-time and is completely dependent on his family for all tasks. Nikolas, despite these and other limitations, is cheerful and upbeat.
Nikolas enjoys a few pastimes. He watches cooking shows and anything where cars are over hauled. He is a fan of the Star Wars films, and his favorite character is C3PO. He likes going on the Star Tours ride at the Hollywood Studios theme park. He also has fun going to the beach or simply helping to cook meals at home. Nikolas, more importantly, is a happy kid. He is very mellow and content with life. Nothing gets him down. He always has a big, beautiful smile. In some cultures, the name Nikolas means conqueror of people. This brave boy has certainly conquered his illness and our hearts.
Nikolas is receiving a Convaid Rodeo stroller to provide him with easier, safer, and more comfortable transportation. We are so grateful to Broadrick for their generous support!
