Meet Nineska!
Meet 14-year-old Nina. She endures multiple diagnoses, including spina bifida and Hydrocephalus. Nina cannot walk without using her braces or walker. She has other challenges but none prevent her from being happy.
Nina has a variety of interests. Her favorite movie is Lilo and Stitch. She listens to upbeat music by the cool group, Bad Bunny. Nina also likes going on trips to the Volcano Bay waterpark at Universal Studios. Nina is an avid swimmer and adaptive skier. She is even a member of her local Show Ski Team. Most importantly, Nina has a beautiful personality. Nina is thoughtful. Nina will not buy something for herself unless she can do the same for her friends and family. She is confident and comfortable with herself. Nina is also an honest girl who doesn’t hold back with her opinions! Clearly, she has an unsurpassed strength that even her disability cannot match. She is our inspiration!
Nina needed an adaptive tricycle to improve her leg strength, balance, and coordination. The exercise will help her ability to walk. Thanks to a Sponsorship through Athletes Helping Athletes, we were able to help Nineska get the Trike that she needed!
