Meet Rayan!

Meet 13-year-old Rayan. Sadly, he was born with a congenital heart defect. He has endured many procedures, including open heart surgery. He also survived cardiac arrest. He has asthma attacks after physical exertion and becoming tired. Rayan, despite his difficult life, remains positive.

Rayan has several interests. He has fun playing Fortnight with his friends. He is a basketball and football fan. Rayan even had open heart surgery in hopes of being able to participate in these sports. Instead, he tries to be active by riding his bicycle. When feeling discouraged, Rayan finds inspiration by reading Bob Marley’s book, “Every Little Thing is Going to be Alright.” Rayan is best known for being a good person. He is a fighter who has gone through many battles and can still smile. His joy is unending and contagious. Rayan is open with his emotions and feelings. He often expresses his love for friends and family. Rayan clearly has a heart perfectly made to love and inspire.

Rayan needed a bathroom modification to make showering easier and safer. Thanks to a Grant through Asofsky, Wheelchairs 4 Kids was able to help assist Rayan in obtaining the Bathroom Modification that he needed.
