Meet Riley!
Meet seven-year-old Riley. She was born with Down syndrome and hypotonia. Riley can walk, but she falls easily due to low muscle tone and underdeveloped coordination. Riley manages to have a fun childhood despite her tribulations.
Riley has an array of pastimes. Her favorite shows include Little Angel and Mighty Little Bheem. She is a fan of Disney films featuring Minnie Mouse. Riley listens to children’s songs and pop music—her favorite performer is Taylor Swift. She also likes swimming at the beach and playing on trampolines at the Urban Air theme park. She is full of energy and excitement. She is known to be sweet and sassy. Riley is a perfect combination of traits to make her a perfect little girl.
Riley received a therapy bicycle to improve her leg strength and balance. She will have a great time riding the trike, too, and being able to enjoy the great outdoors! Special thanks to Baycare for being her sponsor!
